How does the desktop version integrate with the Mobile version?

Simple. The file format is the same.

Take a file(.db3) from the desktop, use it on the mobile version.

I should be more specific. On ActiveSync, there is a button or menu item called explore. Browse there until you find your storage card or built in storage. You can copy the .db3 file that you've created on the desktop into there.

Thanks Nathan, I knew that fact, but thought the integration might be more direct.

That's one way to do it, but I always suggest purchasing a cheap memory card reader/writer.  A single-card model is usually less than $10 (less than $5 if you can catch them on special at one of the big-box stores), and a multi-card model will run $20-$30.  Get the multi because they can read all cards - from your camera, PPC, video recorder, whatever you need.

Transfer speeds using a card reader and a high-speed USB port are so much faster than using a directly connected camera or PPC you almost won't believe it.  I just copied 500MB worth of maps in less than 60 seconds.

What error message are you getting?

You should have a mixture of white, brown, black, blue and green, although there are some lower res scans of maps that are less colorful in some areas. Try zooming in. Aerial photography is always grayscale.

My desktop screen used to access the terra server site buttons are "greyed out" not letting me select a location to define and down-load. The version on my IPAQ works fine. My desktop has DSL internet access, so I can not understand why the program is not allowing the program to access the Terra Server site.
Suggestions?

OK, have you already created a file to store all the maps.

The form should have messages about this on the map and above the buttons.

Thanks. It was my mistake, not a program error. I Created a *.mps file, and was able to down load files.
Thanks
