Question: I had to install BackCountryNavigator on to my CF card. My GPS is a  GlobalSat BC-307 Compact Flash GPS Card. How can I run BCN and use my GPS?

You can't.

But please tell more about the system. What slots does it have? Does it have flash rom?

It is a Dell Axim 5X, memory 64MB, os PC2003, 1 SD, 1 CF.

Then how do you use the map and gps?

As far as I know, you can't put multiple CF devices in one CF slot. Someone correct me if they've done it.

You can get memory cards that fit in either a CF SD slot. However, your GPS can only fit in the CF slot. So that would suggest using the SD slot for maps and files. Secure Digital cards are available on sale at the link to the right, or at your local store.
