In 2.5.6 PPC and previous, I noticed the distance traveled after a Save Track, then under the List, Edit menu. I have not noticed it elsewhere, but I'm a new user.

I also noticed in previous Desktop versions I've used that the distance did not appear as above, but does in 2.5.6.

Upon starting the Desktop version 2.5.6 this morning, I receiveed a "Error Opening file (the path to file.db3). Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite, Version=1.0.39, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=(some hex)' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definitiion does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT:0x80131040)

Was working OK with previous rev last night. Tried reboot, reinstall-repair.

The fix was to go to Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, and remove the *two* versions of BCN shown there, and then reinstall.  Of couse I could have done this prior to install of 2.5.6 Desktop in the first place, but I thought I should get this information out here.

Lastly, when I registered my newly-purchased desktop version a couple of days ago, my wife was logged in on her desktop of Windows XP Pro. She hogs the computer sometimes. I used it a bit on her accoout, then when she logged out, I got on my acoount, same computer, but BCN was not registerd any longer, and I could not re-register. Suggestions? Maybe the registration can go in HKLM instead of HKCU? I didn't actually check this out, just guessing.

Thanks for your eforts!

I do think the desktop version is accessing user specific profiles

This can be fixed once I figure out how to do it without breaking anybody. It sounds like the installer for the desktop also needs some work.

Is there a way you can help me get it registered on my profile? I still have a dozen or so days to go on trial.

I could try some hacking, which might not be welcome, but I  would be willing to do tests, etc. as well. I've worked as a sysadmin and software eng. for 20 years.

I'll send you some instructions via email. Hopefully, later tonight.
