I just got a Samsung i760 with Windows Mobile 6. It will install BCN but keeps telling me that BCN failed to load .NET Compact Framework. I've tried the .cab method and the Microsoft download version of loading the .NET CF V2.

Not sure where to go from here.

Thanks

Can you post the wording of the error message you are getting? A screen shot would even be better.

I have a WM6 device but it does not have the problem you mention.

Sorry I am not familiar enough with WM6 to make a screenshot.

Here is the error message:

.NET CF Initialization Error:

The application failed to load required components. If the .NET Compact Framework is installed on a storage card, please ensure that this card is in place and launch the application again. If this fails, a re-installation of the .NET Compact Framework is recommended. Support info: -2147483647 (80000001)

I do have a micro CF card in the phone but I am using it for other applications so  know it is working.

Other people have installed okay on the Samsung i760, so I'm not sure what is different.

When you get a chance, can you  a few files from your Pocket PC to support? Explore from ActiveSync, choose My Windows Mobile device to explore the root, then copy to your hard drive and send as an attachment.

There should be a few files there called installer.txt and NETCF2.0.log.(or similar).
