I'd like to have a way to purge a section from a map.  I spent hrs. downloading map tiles for Yosemite & accidentally picked a reference point that had nothing to do w/the area I was downloading (two peaks w/the same name - who knew?), & got a stray tile way outside the park.  How hard would it be to allow purging a section from a map file? e.g. given a center point & size, remove from current map file.

It is possible. The bigger challenge is creating an interface to pick the tiles.

Is your concern more of database size or that it is offcentering the map or causing other problems?

Hope you can post a trip report from Yosemite.

Hi Nathan! Mostly it's just annoying knowing I messed up the map & can't fix it w/o starting over... Cheesy

I was still able to fit all of Yosemite, Sequoia/King's Canyon & most of the remaining Sequoia Nat'l Forest on a 1G card - those are the places I frequent, so it's nice having them all available.

(LOVE the software! - it's exactly what I was looking for)
