Import from desktop
«

Hey, I haven't tried yet but don't want to waste my time. Can I download a map on my desktop and simply paste it on my memory card and use for my PDA? It takes a long time to use the PDA for all the downloads and it kills my battery. I'm a beginner but want to make sure this program is for me before purchasing it. By the way I LOVE IT so far!

Yes.
Use BackCountry Navigator desktop and simply copy the .db3 file as any other file.

What isn't working? Are you getting an error message?

I've been able to transfer files back and forth many times.
If you a file with this behavior that isn't too large, could you email it to support?

A few megs or less would help, because ISPs tend to strip of attachments larger than 5 megs.
