Hi all, I am in the trial for this program before I decide to buy it, I need to see how it works for geocaching.
I am running WM6 on a HTC Apache PPC.
When I try to import a .gpx file that I have saved on my memory card, the program hangs and doesnt do anything.  The .gpx file is about 2 meg, and I have about 8 meg of memory left on the device itself, but theres still about 1 gig of space on the card left.

Any suggestions as to how to load a .gpx without the program crashing?

The memory card space will be plenty, but it could be limited by available RAM.

Unfortunately, some Windows Mobile Devices can often be inefficientin processing XML. When you try to conserve memory, it can get extremely slow.

The easiest option is to download and use BackCountry Navigator Desktop. It can import things in a minute that may take an hour.

Once imported, the mobile version can use a very large .db3 file, a gigabyte or more.

There is also the possiblity that something in the GPX file is tripping up. You can email the GPX file to support at this website for a check.
