Maybe I am doing something wrong here, or maybe the software just doesnt work this way, but here goes.

I download my map data just fine (topo and/or aerial).  The map seems to be centered on my current position.  I pull up my list of waypoints and tell it to "GOTO" one of them. Then I switch back to the map and see the pink/purple line drawn from current location to waypoint location.  If I try and pan the map so that I can see the terrain between the two points, it keeps snapping back to the original location.

Is there a way to be able to pan from one waypoint to another so that you can get an idea of the terrain in between?

When the GPS is active, the Keep On Screen menu option will recenter the map once you start drifting off screen.

If you uncheck this option, you will be able to pan around as needed.
