2.0.6 Dell X51V and Dell Bluetooth GPS No Connection

Downloaded trial of 2.0.6 but can't get it to work with the Dell Bluetooth GPS. Even before runing detect drop down shows "Shared GPS Device (NMEA-0183 GPS Device or.." and is then cut off so I can't tell which Com port is detected. Hitting detect does not add any to the list. Hitting Connect quickly switches to Disconnect but does not show satellites or any connection. I can connect with the current release 1.xxx of Backcountry Navigator on Com 8 at 4800 baud, and see satellites, navigate, etc. No luck with 2.0.6. Product looks good. Thanks for any suggestions, or hope this helps you with your future config of the product. Maybe the ability to set manually if the auto find doesn't work would be handy.

Based on the feedback I've gotten, allowing it to specify the port and speed may help.
There is a chance, though you can get it to work if you go to Settings -> GPS.
Set hardware port to 8 and speed to 4800, while setting the program port to an unused slot. If you do this, the Shared GPS device
I will be borrowing an X51V and will be reporting back more on this when I'm back from an overnight trip.

Just a late followup... the settings did help- and I was able to set up successfully. Using the Dell Navigation software did not setup the GPS for use by other software. To do I did the following:
1) Go to Settings/Connections. (Make sure you turn on your bluetooth.) Select bluetooth.. Do add a connection. Select the device. When asked for a passcode- you must add the specific passcode for the device. For my Navteq/Dell Bluetooth GPS- the passcode was 2003. I've also heard 0000 works for a number of bluetooth devices. If you don't get this right- nothing will work.
2) After adding the gps, check the serial box, then click the com ports tab. From here, click add an outgoing connection (don't click incoming, even though data from your gps will be coming in. It doesn't work that way.) Port 7 if it asks.
3) Now go to settings / GPS. Change the hardware port to 4800 baud, com 8. Change the program port to 7. Fire up backcountry navigator- do detect (which finds shared port.) Click connect. If date changes your good to go.
