Sounds like a case of things being out of date rather than wrongly measured. It is very likely that there was a high school there 50 years ago or so. Check for a feedback form at USGS.
Is it possible to download the COLOR maps from terraserver? That would be much more readable than the current B/W ones.
Are you talking about the "Urban areas" from TerraServer? Those are pretty neat where available (near major cities). But be prepared. They go up to 1:0.25m scale and will fill up your storage card even faster. We are looking at including them, but we will also want to include more selective downloading so you can get focused detail on certain areas. A 20x20 region would take up maybe 6.4Gigabytes at 1:0.25m scale.
For now, you also have the topo maps, that do have color but less resolution. They are not as helpful in cities as in the backcountry.
