Been using BCN 2 for a few days now, and love it!

My most wanted feature is something that indicates the status of the GPS fix.  Something like cell phone 'bars' that gives you an idea of the status of the GPS.

There is lots of available room on the Nav screen, and I'd like something on the Map screen as well (perhaps in conjuntion with the ruler?).

The fix / strength indicator is still a good idea, but I discovered what caused me to think I needed it.  Apparently the SiRF chipset in my PocketPC had the 'static navigation' feature enabled.  That feature (when enabled) causes the GPS location to 'freeze' when the unit detects velocity below 3 meters/second and reported location within a set radius.  Perhaps ideal for vehicular GPS use, but very much less than ideal for GeoCaching.  Huh

I used SirfTech ( see http://w5.nuinternet.com/s660100031/SirfTech.htm ) to change the setting on my Pocket PC.  Now I get all the updates, even when I'm walking slowy.   Grin

2.2.0 has a GPS strength indicator, based on Mean Dilution of Precision as reported by the device. It will show yellow for a 2D fix and red for no fix.

It should also show a line on the left for a differential fix, but my device doesn't report that, so I'm not sure if that is working yet.
