Hmm,
When you download with the aircard at home, does it start with a certain number of tiles to load, then count down to zero? Or does it find zero tiles to begin with?
Could you check the \My Documents\Bcnav2log.txt file to see if there are more errors that arent being reported. You can also send that file to support.
it acts like its finding no tiles to download... says 0/0
im pasting the text, cant get the attachment to go through.
thanks...

actually, I tried the same area from work and get ZERO tiles. something is up with that area. Im able to download tiles just a few miles away but when I include this particular area, it grabs zero tiles.
Ill send the coords if you want to try it.
thanks, JP
Yes, I would like to try it.
Try the area around 40.8 N and -114.0 W
very close to Wendover NV.
Just in case, could you check your version number? Program->Registration.
I am getting downloads at this boundary. My version number is 2.7.6.
There was a recent fix called "Rectangle downloads automatically split at UTM Zone boundary".
there is a time zone change there... Ill check my version... downloading another map right now. thats probably it.
another wierd thing happened, I went and loaded another map a few hundred miles away to see if it would do this, and the screen was blank. Iwent to placefinder and located the airport there and then my map appeared. like it was clear off the scope of my display.
how do I make sure the program centers on a newly loaded map?
thanks... I also plan to use your DT app very soon.

When you download more data you are not creating another map per se, but you are adding to your existing map. If you have bits of map in different places 100 miles away, there is going to be blank space in between.
BCN tries to center somewhere reasonable but may be confused between an empty download and another one.
Defining places/waypoints first and then using regional downloads (see software tour) is often a good way to keep it centered. You can always use Action->List to find a point to center on.
