This is a great app. The best on my droid so far.
1--When I download maps with overlaps how are they saved? will the overlap data be saved in two places or does it over write the exsiting data? The reson i ask is I have downloaded some big sections but have had some crashes during downloading (mostly my fault) and the data that was downloaded before the crash seems to work fine and I was not sure if I should delete the old map to save on card space before downloading the same section again to make sure have all the zoom levels for that section.

Each tile of the map is stored by a unique identifier so it will never be downloaded again.
So just start a new download on the same area and let it fill in what you are missing.
Ok thanks. That is what it looked like but I just wanted to be sure.
On the same subject could you tell me why when I download a large section and set it for offline only it will display a lot more tiles than I selected for dowload. The extra tiles seem to be missing a lot of zoom levels. This is not a bad thing but it makes it very difficult to determine what sections I have with all the zoom levels I want.
