Download throttle/pause

I am evaluationg BCN on an android device.

I am pretty sure that downloading a large-ish map from italian PCN gets me IP-banned. The dowloads all stop after a few thousand tiles, and after BCN is unable to display PCN maps even online.

This happens after about 3-4000 tiles, as far as I can see.

Switching to mobile network, I can see the maps again, so I guess it's definitely an IP/useragent ban.

Is there a way to throttle down the download speed (e.g. pause X seconds between tiles) to avoid this?

Alternatively, a way to pause a download (when it's IP banned) and resume it a few days later, when hopefully the IP ban has been lifted?
