Lost GPX data in GE

By RichLangford - Posted on 14 April 2011

I have started to use BCN with a Huawei Ideos Google phone for taking notes in geological mapping - very good. I use the Description field, e.g.

1970-01-01T00:00:02Z
540.0

GE 5 for Linux will not read the part of the GPX file, but it is fine for GE 6.0.1.2032 (beta)on XP. Luckily, this is not a big problem.

The field is nonsensical - where is this generated or controlled?

I also change the flag symbol from the default to show different rocks. However, the flag change is not part of the GPX export, and so does not change in GE. Any ideas on this?

Thanks
Rich

To better help you, coudl you email to support a sample of the GPX files you are getting? Thanks.

Thanks Nathan. Sorry about the delay. The GPX file is on its way.
