Random disconnect with AR-200 BT receiver

I'm running an Axim X30 with an AR-200 Bluetooth GPS receiver sold by buyGPSnow.com.  It connects nicely and works fine with the BCN software. The problem I  have is that it randomly disconnects and I get a timeout error. It may disconnect after 2 minutes or an hour.  Does anybody know if it peculiar to that GPS unit or  X30 unit? When I use a serial port (RS-232) connected GPS unit they stay connected and everything works fine until turned off.
