Software Manual
There is a new link up at the top of this webpage to a software manual. This is a textual manual that explains menus, features, and buttons.
When you get a chance, take a look at the manual and give feed back. We hope to refine it over time to be helpful for old and new users.
I'm hoping that this can reduce the learning curve for those using BackCountry Navigator. I know many of you have enjoyed the software once you have learned to use it.

Hi-
I am still using the trial versions of BCN on my PC and Cingular 8525, but so far I love it. I will definitely be buying. I found the online manual to be helpful, however, I could not find information there on creating a path (or is it track?). I get how to select points and have the program create lines between the points, but it is still a mystery to me what triggers the program to turn that into a track....
The manual hasn't been updated to reflect this. It is in Action->Select->Create Path
Thanks Nathan! I suspected that was it (I was clicking around trying a bunch of things). Awesome program! You'll be getting my payment for both versions later today!
;D
