TRACKING DOES NOT WORK ON 2.8.2

Tried using 2.8.2 this morning. Gps satellate pickup was great. But now the tracking does not show any tracking line or information on my ipaq hw6945 unit.

Also, Nathan. No tracking line is visible on the map. there is tracking log. But when you go to open the map. the map is there but the track line is not there.

With all that's been reported, I'd say 2.8.x is beta quality at best. I see no compelling reason for anyone to update from 2.7.8 other than to help find bugs.
I'm designating 2.7.8 as the latest stable version while we work on this tracking bug and a few other issues.

Cannot run 2.7.8 either when you download and try running it says it is not a win32 application.
Fortunately, that problem is more easily fixed. You get it if you run the installer on the wrong device.
It's probably one of these two:
"Autorun.exe[1] is not a valid win32 executable": The "Run on Device" link was used from your desktop computer. Use the "Run From Desktop" link instead.
"BcNavInstall is a valid pocket pc program": The "Run From Desktop" link was used on your mobile device. Use the "Run from Device" link instead.
Will not run either way
Download 2.7.8 to another computer and transfere it that way. Not sure why I got the error on my other computer have a nice weekend
