Windows phone 7?

By rlridgeway - Posted on 30 October 2010

Are you planning to run on the new windows mobile platform?

Yes, it is in the plan.

Do you have a Windows Phone 7 coming?

To make more progress on it, though, we'll need more time or money or equipment than we have now. We should have that as soon as the Android app reaches number one.

I am planning to get a new phone within the next few weeks and am considering all the options.
I used to have Backcountry Navigator running on a Dell Axim. About a year and a half ago the Axim bit the dust. I replaced it with a cellphone running WM 6.5 standard which will not run Backcountry Navigator.

I really miss your mapping software. A major requirement for my next phone will be the ability to use BN.

I am leaning towards purchasing a Dell Streak. Have you had any response from those using BN on the Streak? I understand the Streak runs Android 1.6 but apparently there is a upgrade to 2.2 on the way.

I don't have experience with the Dell Streak, but it sounds great.

2.2 is way better than 1.6, though, so make sure that is really on the way.

Hi
I hope when you induce BCN for windows 7 you dont forget your loyal fans still using Window 5. When you make those changes remind us who use windows 5 if the BCN for windows7 update work both ways. If not please note that .
